• Regular communication from the interdisciplinary team.

  • Strategies used with children to promote healthy social—emotional development, expressive language skills, and problem solving strategies that can be carried over to the home and school environment.

  • Small groups of 6 to 8 children.

  • These groups are for children with mild developmental needs such as regulatory – sensory needs, anxiety, attachment and separation needs.

  • These groups support developmental needs related to learning challenges and mild motor or speech needs impacting their socialization or self –esteem. 

  • Groups are formed by age and need. Groups are available for children as young as 2 years.

  • Our oldest groups are children 12-17 yrs. old.

Social Skills Groups

This is a psycho-educational support service promoting early intervention to families.


  • Autism Spectrum Disorders


  • Sensory motor activies in the classroom



  • Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine Intervention


What is included in Social Skills Group Service?

  • Groups include developmental assessments and behavioral plans based on the need of each child.

  • Parents receive regular feedback and parent consultation.

  • For those children who have IEP’s, our Developmental Specialist and School Psychologist will look to create goals and interventions to support the needs of a child’s IEP report.  

  • Families will receive quarterly classroom observations on their child’s behalf as needed.

  • Our School Psychologist will attend IEP meetings on behalf of parents needing support. Psychologist will provide recommendations for IEP or ISFP team. 

This is a psycho-educational support system  for parents and an early intervention/prevention service offered to the community.

The monthly fee for the Therapeutic and alternative education program varies based on the developmental assessment and vender of each family. 

Children enrolled  in our  program remain on our roster until a Developmental Specialist and Clinical team determine it's appropriate for a child to transition out.
